Shirakaba Kogen Kokusai Ski Area

Shirakaba Kogen Kokusai boasts wide, beginner-friendly slopes alongside stunning mountain scenery and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for first-time riders. The wide, gentle slopes is one of the biggest advantages for first timers as this means more room to turn and a safer learning environment.

Additionally, compared to major resorts, Shirakaba tends to be less crowded and less overwhelming that will translate into less stress for first-timers.

    We handle your ride from Haneda Airport or selected train stations to the accommodations.

How It Works

  • Browse our upcoming snow trip dates and pick the one that fits your schedule. Each trip is thoughtfully timed for the best conditions, so you can travel with confidence.

  • Reserve your place through our booking form. Need to adjust? Cancel up to 21 days before departure for a 50% refund, straightforward and stress-free. You may also choose to transfer your slot to a friend, free-of-charge, 21 days before your trip.

  • We'd recommend booking your flights to Japan as soon as possible. We will provide recommended flight timings and routes to our pick-ups.

  • 1 month before your trip, we’ll send you a detailed trip brief with everything you need to know — daily schedules, packing recommendations, optional add-ons, and more.

  • Pack your bags, bring the energy. The mountains are waiting for you!

What’s not included

  • Flights to Japan and train travel costs (if any) are not covered in the package.

  • Outside of the included breakfasts and dinners, the rest of your meals are yours to explore, giving you the flexibility to explore mountain-side spots at your own pace.

  • Equipment rental payments are not included, as some travellers may prefer to bring their own skis or snowboard. Our team will help arrange equipment rentals ahead of time for those who need them.

  • Personal shopping, snacks, drinks, laundry, and other incidental expenses are not included.

    Travel insurance is not included. We strongly recommend coverage that includes winter sports, medical expenses, trip delays, and personal belongings.

  • Private or extra lessons outside the included sessions are not covered.

    We also provide options to rent winter activity clothing or purchase certain accessories like gloves and goggles if you need them.
