Welcome to BEYOND SNOW LLP (“Beyond Snow”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking any trip, package, lesson, accommodation, transfer, or service through Beyond Snow, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

2. PACKAGE DESCRIPTION

Beyond Snow provides hosted beginner ski and snowboard experiences, which may include:

  • Accommodation

  • Beginner ski/snowboard lessons

  • Local transport coordination

  • Prebooked equipment rental arrangements

  • Resort guidance and hosting

  • Group activities and welcome dinners

Unless otherwise stated, packages DO NOT include:

  • International flights 

  • Travel costs excluding arranged transfers

  • Personal travel insurance

  • Ski/snowboard equipment rental payments

  • Personal equipment

  • Meals not specifically stated

  • Visa or passport costs

  • Personal expenses

3. BOOKING & PAYMENT

3.1 Deposit

A deposit of 50% is required to confirm and reserve a booking slot. Deposit must be made via bank transfer within 3 days of booking registration. Free cancellation is possible within 3 days of booking payment.

3.2 Full Payment

Full payment must be completed no later than 60 days before trip departure.

Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.

3.3 Currency & Fees

All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.

Guests are responsible for:

  • bank transfer fees

  • payment gateway fees

  • currency conversion fees

  • credit card charges

4. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

4.1 Guest Cancellation Policy

3 days after booking registration

  • Deposit is refundable.

4 – 60 days before departure

  • Deposit is non-refundable.

  • Remaining paid balance refundable.

30–59 days before departure

  • 50% of total package price refundable.

Less than 30 days before departure

  • No refunds

4.2 No-Show / Early Departure

No refunds will be provided for:

  • no-shows

  • missed activities

  • unused accommodation

  • early departure

  • missed transport

4.3 Transfer of Booking

Bookings may be transferred to another participant subject to:

  • approval by Beyond Snow

  • administrative fees

  • replacement guest meeting trip requirements

4.4 Weather & Snow Conditions

Snow and weather conditions are outside our control.

No refunds will be provided due to:

  • snowfall conditions

  • resort closures

  • weather disruptions

  • lift closures

  • reduced visibility

  • terrain limitations

Alternative arrangements may be offered at our discretion.

5. LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

5.1 Acknowledgement of Risk

Guests acknowledge that skiing and snowboarding are inherently dangerous activities and may involve:

  • falls

  • collisions

  • equipment malfunction

  • changing weather conditions

  • icy terrain

  • avalanches

  • physical injury

  • permanent disability

  • death

Guests voluntarily participate at their own risk.

5.2 Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beyond Snow LLP, its partners, guides, instructors, staff, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • injuries

  • accidents

  • illness

  • death

  • lost or damaged property

  • transport delays

  • resort closures

  • acts of third parties

  • weather disruptions

  • negligence of external vendors

5.3 Personal Responsibility

Guests are responsible for:

  • following instructor guidance

  • acting safely and responsibly

  • staying within ability level

  • complying with resort rules

  • using properly fitted equipment

5.4 Equipment Responsibility

Guests are responsible for rental equipment during the rental period.

Beyond Snow is not responsible for:

  • equipment damage

  • theft

  • loss charges

  • incorrect sizing selected by guests

Equipment changes between ski and snowboard setups may not be allowed after booking confirmation.

6. TRAVEL INSURANCE REQUIREMENT

All guests MUST obtain valid travel insurance that includes:

  • winter sports coverage

  • medical evacuation

  • trip cancellation/interruption

  • personal injury coverage

Proof of insurance may be requested before departure.

Failure to obtain appropriate insurance is entirely at the guest’s own risk.

7. AGE & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

7.1 Minimum Age

Minimum participant age is 10 years old.

Participants below 10 years old may only join through:

  • private group bookings

  • full package book-out arrangements

  • special approval by Beyond Snow

7.2 Height Requirement

Recommended minimum height:

  • 90cm and above

7.3 Fitness Requirements

Guests should:

  • be in generally good physical condition

  • be capable of light-to-moderate physical activity

  • have no medical condition preventing participation in winter sports

Guests must inform Beyond Snow of:

  • injuries

  • medical conditions

  • allergies

  • mobility limitations

  • recent surgeries

Participation may be denied if safety concerns arise.

8. LESSONS & GROUP POLICIES

  • Maximum lesson class size: 6 participants

  • Lesson schedules may change depending on weather, conditions, or instructor availability

  • Beyond Snow reserves the right to combine or adjust lesson groups where necessary

9. ACCOMMODATION POLICIES

9.1 Accommodation Credits

Guests who choose not to use included accommodation may receive accommodation credits or deductions at Beyond Snow’s discretion.

9.2 Room Changes

Requests for room upgrades, changes, or private arrangements may incur additional charges.

9.3 Shared Spaces

Some accommodations may include shared common facilities depending on room selection.

10. TRANSPORT POLICIES

10.1 Included Transport

Selected local transport between accommodation and mountain areas may be included.

10.2 Additional Charges

Transport requests outside standard operating hours (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM) between Nagano and accommodation locations may incur additional fees.

10.3 Delays

Beyond Snow is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • traffic

  • weather

  • road closures

  • transport providers

  • train delays

11. LIFT PASSES

Lift passes included in packages are subject to:

  • resort terms

  • weather conditions

  • operational availability

Full mountain pass upgrades may be offered at Beyond Snow’s discretion and may incur additional charges.

12. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

Beyond Snow may capture photos/videos during trips for:

  • marketing

  • social media

  • promotional materials

  • website content

Guests consent to the use of such media unless written notice is provided before the trip.

13. PRIVACY POLICY SUMMARY

We may collect:

  • names

  • emails

  • phone numbers

  • passport information

  • emergency contact information

  • payment details

  • travel preferences

  • medical/disclosure information relevant to safety

This data is used for:

  • booking management

  • safety coordination

  • accommodation reservations

  • transport arrangements

  • customer support

  • marketing communications

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

14. FORCE MAJEURE

Beyond Snow shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control including:

  • natural disasters

  • pandemics

  • government restrictions

  • war

  • severe weather

  • strikes

  • transport shutdowns

  • resort closures

15. RIGHT TO REFUSE PARTICIPATION

Beyond Snow reserves the right to remove or refuse participation to any guest whose behavior:

  • endangers others

  • violates laws or resort rules

  • is abusive or disruptive

  • is intoxicated or unsafe

No refund will be provided in such situations.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
